When I got my SS it had been dropped and the OEM left side mirror was damaged, bits of the broken case missing.........so I repaired that fairly well. But I also noticed that the left side black plastic mount was also damaged and it's finally bust beyond repair...... Has anyone got one by any chance?........just the black plastic bit.....doesen't matter which side 'cos they are the same both sides. AL
Well, I have mended the mount (that means bodged) by making a new dome / knuckle for the mirror arm to locate on. Sheet ally and a ball-pene hammer thumped into the sheet sorted that out.....left a bit with a tag so it has a rivet into it..... Don't know how long it will last, so still looking for a replacement.
