So last night I was stuck in a queue of traffic ( around 2 miles) that is created by a notorious traffic light junction up our way when I was hit by a wave of inspiration. At the appropriate moment I switched the bike into Enduro mode made a right turn and disappeared down an unadopted track that services several farms and a scrap yard. Surface was loose gravel with pot holes, bumps and dips, then beyond the farm the track "deteriorates" with a strip of grass running down the middle of two wheel tracks. Stood up on the pegs letting the bike "do its thang", at the end I was grinning like I had a coat hanger in me gob! Its been a while since I did off road but folks it was kin brilliant. Just thought Id share!
