  1. Now with skyhook suspension !

  2. I guess this makes the current model's electronically adjustable suspension redundant.

I'll give any dealer reading this £10k for the new 1200 Touring he currently has in his showroom that he will now struggle to shift!

  3. I wonder what the price of the Grandtourismo will be ?? £16,500 is my guess.........although the current PP is £17,250- so maybe it will be the same price as that !!

  4. Hopefully cheaper as euro weaker. Well we can hope cant we

  5. No mention of a new gearbox then, or even a functioning rear brake. I would feel my 2012 model was quite second hand if the 2013 model had those "owner inspired" features.

  6. Looks like ill be buying a 2nd hand older model then.... Oh well, I've never used a back brake anyway :)

Now then, is it worth buying an S model..hmmm

  7. As well as Chainsaws suggestions other owner inspired features could include fork seals that dont blow at 3,000 miles , a ex flapper valve that dosent constantly stick , a engine that dosent cut out at random , a battery that doesent mysteriously discharge itself and some fasteners that dont corrode away ... Ha

  8. WOW, you lot are a cynical bunch !!

New price aside, I'm sure the new version will be fantastic.

I've done 20,500- miles on my 2010 model (one of the first) and it's been pretty nearly faultless, even the rear brake upgrade, which I use a lot, works well enough. (leaking Ohlins fork seals are not restricted to just this bike, it's a common Ohlins failing).

Sorry to those who have not been so lucky.

  9. I like your post Rod and it gives me hope the fact that you have done some 20,000 miles on the bike ,. The few multis I have encountered on my travels have all been squeaky clean bikes that have never seen the rain and have low milages , I am really impressed with everything about my bike when riding it, but ive done 8,000 miles in about 8 months , some of it in bad weather and am beggining too think they lack any sort of durability

  10. 4,000 of which was on the back of AA recovery truck

  17. Agree with all of those suggestions and for me a screen that doesn't bash my head around like a ping pong ball in a windtunnel
