Saturday night, caught the end of Lynyrd Skynyrd from 1975......

.......I didn't particularly like them then, but f-me, at least they could play their instruments properly and produce decent stuff, unlike the cr*p we hear today...........

I saw Skynyrd 3 times in the early / mid 1970's, they were bloody awesome. As for OGWT, I grew up on it, but in good old black & white!

If you like Skynyrd go see Skinny Molly if you ever get the chance... And have a listen to Southern Rock Opera by the Drive-By Truckers - it's basically about Skynyrd... I also grew up on OGWT - and I have always thought that Lynyrd Skynyrd were awesome...
