  1. Hi..

I’m looking to fit a set of ohlins FG8910 forks from a 999s, wondering if anybody has fitted these to there bike and what I’ll need to do..

As far as I no I’ll need 749/999 mudguard..
    Bottom yoke for ohlins

Can use my 996 front wheel ?
    996 front wheel spindle
    Speedo pickup ?
Use my 996 callipers but may need spacers for discs or callipers or change discs to 748R discs..

    many help is much appreciated

  2. You are quite well on your way. The only thing is the speedo pick up, I haven’t looked into it myself but I think it won’t be a big challenge. 996 wheel will fit, axle has the same diameter and you need an offset for the discs or indeed R discs.

  3. Yes I’ll look into the speedo pick up.. thought it might be ok as using my original wheel.. I’ll find out soon enough..

Just need to find some 5mm spacer rings for the discs.. or I thought of spacing the callipers out 5mm.. either way should work I’d think..

  4. Nice yoke! I have one laying around here too but I’m planning to use the stock 56mm with the same fork in my 748/9 project.
