Putting my forks back in after repair, can't remember what the measurement is from bottom yoke to fork seal at bottom of outer tube. Anyone know or could measure it for me please?
Did you remove the yoke? Usually poke 'em through the top yoke 3 rings shown on the outside and your golden.:Artist:
Yup as Nelson said. I have no idea if mine is 100% correct but I have 2 rings clear with the third ring just showing and no more, just about level with the top of the yoke. Poor pic but taken to show brake line routing and accidentally captured the top of the forks too. You can't see the third ring as you can just see it when looking almost directly down on the fork in the top yoke chamfer
Thanks guys, sums my expertise up as I should,have taken note when I took it all apart! Although the bike was in a big crash so the forks could actually have been a little off anyway. I stripped the whole,front off as one fork tube was damaged and the bottom yoke clamp was also damaged. I was going to take it to Ducati to check that it is fitted correctly but how difficult can it be? Cheers.
