Guys I'm after the triple tree to allow me to fix Ohlins forks. Bottom yoke must be 56mm. If you have the forks for sale too, bonus!!
Why not just have a ktech kit fited? Much better tbh as you will still need to have a set of forks set up. And likely cheaper. Or just have Maxton rework them. Unless. You just want some yellow bling
you may find you just need the ohlins 56 bottom yoke......the std top is 53.. take no notice of grumpy...he is a cheap skate!
is it because they are not ohlins dealers any more?? What suspension is on 99% of moto gp wsb bsb.........
The I initial choice was Maxton. I did this with my last fork upgrade. Pistons, springs, shims seals oil etc. great company too. The reason why I'm down this route was I found a set of Ohlins forks for £550 on eBay. He had the yoke but that went v quick. So for about £650?? I could have a nice set of forks. It's a matter of weighing up the cost really as a rework by Maxton is around £450 - 500.
Thats cheap, amd you cam have yours shimmed I think, but...will they still need springs and a service?
My Marzocchi's used to leak, every year, sometimes twice a year. The seals needed replacing as often as the engine oil. My Ohlin's ... have never leaked. YMMV, of course.
