1200 Ohlins Varieties

  1. I'm trying to establish what Ohlins forks have been used on the MultiStrada. In fact, I'd like to obtain some of the manual type, i.e. without the electrical connection on top. The problem is that the only pictures I seem to be able to find tend to be of the electronic type although I'm sure I have seen some purporting to be 1200S with just the normal Ohlins top cap and no electrical connection.

Can a MultiStrada expert please enlighten me on this. When has the Multi ever had manual Ohlins?

I believe the current Pikes Peak 1260 has manual Ohlins? Was there also an earlier version that did.

Anyway, hope someone can help clear this up for me.

  2. IIRC, the only Multistrada 1200 to be fitted with a standard Ohlins front suspension was the Pikes Peak except for one year (2013 ?) when it was offered with Skyhook. Andy
