Hi Duc'sters. My otherwice lovely 1200S from 2015 with 20K on the clock has to be topped up with oil every once and a while apx. 1L/5000km. I hate it.... Can anyone recomend an oil that will minimice the oil consumption. Greetchings from Denmark, still waiting for the spring :-/
No idea if that’s in the acceptable range for your motor.. The only time my 1299 has used any oil was in Germany when I spent 3-4 days pretty much flat out everywhere on it. Even then it didn’t use much
That would be considered normal consumption by Ducati and changing oil would not normally make any difference,
Which oil do you use, here in Thailand where it's hot we use a 15/50 synthetic some change to half synthetic. If you change the brand it can take a while before you see the result
