Hi, has anybody had a issue with the oil warning light comming on !!! Oil level full but light appears to come on when cold suspect its a sender issue but cant be to sure awaiting dealer to collect bike, as i,m of to germany a week on saturday don,t need this might have to go on me second bike CCM R30 . Hopefully its just a isolated problem with the model. Ian
I'd be getting that to a dealer for a proper check quick smart if it was me. Whilst it's tempting that it's just a sender issue, when oil lights come on, then I assume the worst until proven otherwise. You could just get another sender and try it, but I'd let a dealer worry about that , especially if you're still in warranty. If so, and there is an issue, then I'd be expecting use of their demo bike for the trip.
Well they are collecting it Tuesday morning to check it out i,m guessing it could be sender at best but that,s why their collecting it just in case it something more substantial. The bike is still in warranty so there wont be any problems on that side plus its only done 6500 miles so it hasn,t had it second service yet.
Just been told by the dealers that it not a oil pressure fault and they are 99% certain its a dash problem. They told me its ok to use and to go abroad on next week as they wont have a dash to fit in time. The CCM has just breathed a big sigh off relief as it can stay in the garage and i,ll go on the duke
