Surprised you have not been inundated with replies. If you got a dealer service today, you’d get Shell oil. Any good quality fully synthetic or even semi synthetic 10w40 or 15w50 would do the job if changed after the appropriate mileage. I use Motul 7100 in all our bikes from my Panigale V4 to a Scrambler Icon. Andy
Yes I expect this topic has been covered many times. Thanks for confirm with the Motul 7100. Last time I gave the Multistrada a service I used shell.
I use 15w 50 shell advance or mobile one ..... 300ml every few hundred miles normally, which insures a constant ongoing oil change for my DVT
Best recommendation. Meet spec, change regularly. Cheapest maintenance available. Brand names? I use Shell advance, sometimes Motul, Castrol, Mobil…but I change oil every 3k and filter every 6k regardless of schedule. Oil weight to suit season.( Viscosity). If you ride all year round you might want a wider weight multi grade. Buy the one with the best stickers for your toolbox!
