Hey all! Well, after a long absence from all things Ducati. I am now looking to get back into them I still own both my 600ss and 750ss neither of which have turned a wheel for at least a year, due to many things such as change and loss of jobs and moving out, and mainly using and abusing my Yamaha Fazer! But now, the Fazer met a sticky end, a van pulled out into my path, and that's about all I remember until I woke up in A&E an hour or so later. That was 3 weeks ago, and I'm still on the mend ( my knee is shot). the bike>> @BenHagerty Photo - Ben Hagerty | Lockerz But anyway, long story short, hi all! I look forwards to absorbing some knowledge and maybe sharing some of mine ( although most of what I know I learned off a few of the guys already here
Thanks mate, all I need now is for the knee to drain and ligament damage to hopefully heal and ill be away didn't stop me swinging a leg over the 750 and firing her up today mind
The ligament damage is probably going to be the longest to get over. My better half tore her ankle ligaments in January and was told they can take up to 18 months to repair, she'd have been better off if she'd broken it! Take it easy and you'll soon be back riding.
Hi and welcome, i had new knee ligaments put in my knee 10 years ago painfull at the time but now fine, still you have got a few months rest until the better weather! wish you well:smile:
Hello and welcome back duke. I fractured my meniscus and damaged the cartilage under my knee cap after an off as pillion. I was back on the bike after a couple weeks as pillion it hurt a bit this was August I had an arthroscopy Christmas eve to clean up the fragments Had bruised the bones so couldn't kneel for a while but by May time I was having bike lessons. My knee is fine now with the occasional twinge Hope your on the mend soon
