Once in a lifetime - Castle Coombe track day

  1. Due to cancellation of a race day, Focused Events have a proper track-day at Castle Coombe. 105db noise limit. Only 6 places left at time of writing. 28th July.

  2. Are you going Dave?

    I'm booked on, not sure the 1098 with open termi's and clutch will pass at 105 so I'm taking the closed clutch cover and standard exhausts. LoL :)

  3. Would also recommend insulating the inside of your fairings etc...:wink:

    They are notoriously anal about the noise testing, any big twin would have to be whisper-quiet to avoid being black-flagged.

  4. Sounds a lot of hassle too me.maybe Put it in a soundproof box and see if that keeps them happy.

  8. Mmmm,

    105Db, what luxury.

    Brands GP circut is 101 Db and my old 996sps passes the noise test. Needed baffles for the cans but left the open clutch cover on.
