1198 Online Parts?

  1. Have searched but cant find a uk based online parts place, even aprilia had a few sites that showed microfiche diagrams with part numbers and price, then you ordered them, surely there must be a ducati equivalent .... or is it a dealer only thing

  2. Depending on the age of what you ride, the parts list is available as a download from Ducati.com. On the home page along the top line you will see Dealers and Services. On the page that opens there are a number of options boxes, just find your bike. Andy

  3. It is a bit of a mystery, but not that uncommon for other vehicle brands. I think some of the importers have a bit of a stranglehold over spares supplies, and the pricing of them - with cars it's rare to find many dealers who will openly sell original parts at a discount, even though there would be plenty of scope for that if we had a truly open market.

For what it's worth, for Honda the Lings (dealer) website has plenty of fiche-type information on many models (bikes and cars) and for Suzuki, Robinson's Foundry has provided excellent service for years, but Ducati....

  4. I use www.ducatiomaha.com select the OEM parts icon and it lists almost every model and year of Ducati with part number files. It's an American site but all the part numbers are the same.

  5. Part numbers im ok with, its just id like an online click n order in the UK like aprilia have ...... seems like you have to use a ducati dealer though

  6. I have always found Craig at Moto Rapido to run one of, if not the best parts departments in the UK Ducati network. Excellent modern and historic model knowledge, fast turn around on stock held items and brilliant customer service. Andy

  9. I used Star Twin in Holland the other day for a new OEM main loom. Arrived here in the UK in four days :) Decent prices too.

  11. I use Omaha aswell. I really like it as it also lists parts prices, albeit in Dollars but gives me a good idea of cost of parts that i may need.
