  1. got a stone chip on rear wheel so....

...touched it in real careful like and rubbed excess off with some autoglym resin polish.....

stood back and thought must be a good job yeah

too my horror found that I had shined that one spoke and the rest of the wheel is a satin finish ...b.ll..s !

any ideas apart from the obvious £800 new wheel one of course !!

    I think it's a powder coated finish

  7. Flatten it back with 1200 wet & dry then polish it very lightly with T-cut. Don't overdo the polishing or it will end up gloss again.

  8. Thanks Derek but it's powder coated I am told by the dealer..so is 1200 wet and dry goin to work ?..scared to try this to be honest :(

  9. You could get both wheels freshly powder coated for less than £100, I've had loads of sets done.

just shop about, try local tyre fitters and service centres, you'll find most have a good connection with painters/powder coasters as a lot race and get their own bikes done
