Hi folks, Question? When fitting DP carbon fibre open clutch cover is the rubber gasket still required? Thanks Steve
Fit it and check the clearance between the spring tower tops and the cover? Mine DID need the gasket fitting - unfortunately I didnt know there was a gasket as the bike never came with one? Scrubbed all the anodising off the top of my new spring caps. :frown:
I haven't on mine, it's a genuine DP cover. I actually had to cut some off the back of the bolt mounts as it sat too proud of the basket, so it's probably the same distance away as if a gasket was used.
