  2. 750 Sport, 16" wheels. Tyres no longer available except in limited runs(GoldenTyres). Marzocchi M1B budget forks, 2 pot calliper brakes. Weber carb, often replaced with dellorto/mikuni cos they're crap. Nothing to do with F1 or monjuic they are highly des classics. This bikes been tarted up and over priced imho. If you like that style a far better bike is the 89/90 900Supersport, they came with 17" wheels and 4 pot caliper brakes. Still had the weber carb but a lot of those were replaced and easy to change anyway. 750 go for 1500-1900 normally, 900 1800-2200. 750 originally was red/blue stripe or red/silver stripe. 900 red/white stripe.

  3. Excellent, this is what I was suspecting but couldn't find the information to back it up.

This bike being described as 750 Sport / F1 / Montjuich didn't fit what limited information I could find which suggested that the F1 / Montjuich was some kind of special with a much higher value. Also frame details didn't fit with the few photographs I could find.

It still might have been a fun bike but I hadn't picked up on the wheel size and tyre problem. So I think I will not follow it up.

  4. Looks OK to me, but overpriced.

  5. Looks like the tyres have been replaced with a fireblade front and a rear for early Triumph cruiser, that was an alternative before GT started making oe sizes. The GT/Shinko tyres are ok, being compared to Pilot Road but wear quicker.

  6. I believe this will have the same engine as my 750 with a dry clutch. There is a 750 sport section on ducatipaso.org if you want to connect with some other sport owners, they will have a better idea of value, but I would have said the its a £1500 all day long.

  7. Nice bike, but over priced, given that it needs to be put back on the road. I'm 20 minutes away from that dealership and have been looking for a Yellow 749 for a while. They got an s model in with 36k on the clock for just over 4.5k and I think that's overpriced as well?
