Is it just me or do others find ordering from R&G direct a ball ache? They have no indication of stock availability at point of order, no communication to customer if a product is out of stock and on back-order and take a good while to respond to email contact. Must admit I've never tried calling them, perhaps thats the best route.
I would use Evotech Performance every time over R&G (if they do the same type of product of course). Great service every time from EP. I once bought a bike with an EP tail tidy and the light broke off. I had no receipt or knowledge of when it was purchased but I emailed them telling them about it, and they sent me a whole new unit without a bit of fuss.
Yup - I use Evotech Performance too but not sure if I've ever ordered from them directly. I like sportsbikeshop.co.uk as they're quick to ship and use DPD for delivery. I like the R&G trackstands and bought one for the new Tuono, figured I'd get some R&G bobbins to go with it and ordered from R&G direct. Nothing from them for well over a week, emailed them and they came back three days later still to tell me they're on back order, that was it. No mention of ETA or anything. I cancelled the order and bought the bobbins elsewhere and they arrived next day. R&G should sort their shit out.
R&G stuff is good from my experience, the evotech 1098 rear spindle slider is much prettier though. Try M&P when orderering R&G in bulk as they always provide very good service and usually give me a decent discount.
I use R&G crash bungs on one of my bikes and having seen how they work I would fit them to any bike I had that they list (although I don't think they do them for the 851). When I needed one bung I phoned them and they couldn't have been more helpful or provide a quicker service. I find any internet site is lacking when it comes to availability so would always phone if I had a time requirement.
