Where can you get a good outdoor from Ive had to move my bike from the works unit and it now sits in the garden, Weathers bad now and will only get worse, as it is the bikes soaked
I've just took a few TES covers in to gauge interest and they look pretty good. More of a zip up tent than a cover. They have a groundsheet built in so the bikes weight is keeping it all on the ground if the wind gets up. Wheel the bike on the base, zip it up and done.. Quality looks to be very good and they are fully lined.
Sounds a good idea, I just havn't that much space, sound like a carcoon, but for bikes I just need a cover to put over the top, that wont blow off in the wind etc to easy
if its a permanent solution try one of these - the stormex is good if your budget doesn't stretch Motoshell - Motorcycle Cover, Motorcycle Storage, Bike Seat Cover, Cruising Bike Cover
I used ones for yrs over here when the bike was outside. It was called a " weatherwaka ". They are heavy with a cotton lining ( the lining can catch so be careful ). Great cover, id recommend one, defo. Google them and found this: SUPER WEATHERWAKA M/C COVER W4 PVC SUPER BIKES C/W S & M | eBay
What about one of these, more money but also more permanent. MOTORBIKE BIKE COVER SHED MOPED STORAGE GARAGE BARN MOTORCYCLE SCOOTER SPORTS + | eBay
749' that's perfect. Thank you bikes for sale, so didn't want to spend a fortune, just had to get a new bike battery, £105 from jhp, not even fitted lol. so money was tight
When my bike was outside for a while I used an R&G cover (Ride recommended or best buy or something). It kept the bike dry, and worked well. Bought another to keep the Ducati clean even though it's in the garage, as they're quite cheap. MOTORCYCLE R&G RACING INDOOR COVER / PROTECTOR ONE SIZE BLACK BIKE COVER | eBay
I have an Oxford stormex and an R&G cover for my bikes, both are pretty good. The liner on both of them is starting to shed though making the bikes look quite dusty when you take the cover off, its not the end of the world but it is a little irritating.
Not impressed with Stormex lasted under a year ripped The fuzzy white lining also wicks water up inside the cover I got a really nice one at NEC show breathable does not wick Bd can be re waterproofed .. Il find out who made it. Doesn't look glam but better quality then the 3 oxfords I've owned and the weather whacker . I have R&g here as well as my other Oxford Stormex had 1. Wicked wet onto the bikes and 2 ripped as well on the side
Dust off covers .. Really impressed !!! I've had so many covers . The funny looking grey one is what I have and am most impressed with it and they are very good dustoffcovers.co.uk/ Better then Oxford Stormex not as nice looking but a better cover .
resurrecting a slightly aged thread ( but still 2014), how do the dustoff overs come up size wise - i have a need to replace my faded and now torn R and G from the website - medium says 'sports bikes up to 1000c, and large for 'large sports bikes....not sure of the difference.... i wil call them as well, but was wondering if anyone had a real world viewpoint, on sizing. No dimensions quoted on website. Ta muchly.
