916 P8 Obd Scanner?

  1. Look at this old relic. It was with the spares for my recently acquired 1995 916 project.

    If I’m correct now I can check to see if it has 1 of 7 possible fault codes haha.

    Aside from being cute and nostalgic does such a device perform any useful tasks?

  2. Negative. Early 1995 Varese standard 916 that was sold new in New York then exported to Tokyo immediately. It got a ton of bits thrown at it and many of the stock components are gone.

    Then it moved to Guam and just sat around. Has been off the road/not ridden for around 15 years.

    The salt air made it a touch fuzzy in areas. As if I care. I’m gonna ride the wheels off this bad boy!
