I've got a Ducati paddock stand that I use on my monster 1100s and had used on the 848. I've now got a 1199 so need the bigger 40mm pin. I've spoke to local dealer who can order me the pin on its own at about £40. Would this fit my existing stand? This would result in me just needin to swap pins each time I use it on different bikes. Much better than spending £150 on another stand. This is my current pin.
The pin would fit the existing stand. However ask them to show which pin they are ordering. As the new stand pins can do both bikes with an adjustable pin.
thanks for reply. Hes told me its the current style 40 mm pin which i asume means its not the newer one with the sleeve that fits over it. Gonna pop over hopefully on fri to see a pic hopefully
Just to confirm in case anyone else has same problem. If you order 97010031A from Ducati you get what u need. A new smaller pin and a bigger sleeve. Ideal for me as I need to use it on both bikes so now it's just a case of undoing a Allen key.
