can anyone recommend a decent paddock stand for monster 1200R I use Harris on my panigale but that’s double sided swingarm Thanks
You could put some Axle bobbins on the 1200R and still use your current stand? You would be a bit limited for what it can be used for though...
My mate did that with his piles peak. Can’t take the wheel out though I’ll have a look at Harris again as I’ve always used them Do their Front stands fit the ohlins forks ok or do you need a pin or something? Thabsk
I went for a 1Jac - British made. Can lift the whole bike off the ground in a single movement. mine was used to make the first 1200R fitting kit - highly recommended http://www.1jac.com/
Thanks I’ve got an ABBA stand already but use paddock stands at Trackdays and for daily mainatnance and cleaning etc the lifts are a faff I just use them for bigger jobs
I bought one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorbik...ingle-swing-/391736759544?hash=item5b355494f8 And one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcyc...-S-2014-red-/282295226030?hash=item41ba1b4eae Both are excellent. The rear one is really great quality - very sturdy, and the bike is really nice and stable when raised up on both. An Abba style stand offers the ultimate versatility, but for 90% of the time these work really well.
Really good, aren't they? I think I only paid about £65 for mine - they seem to have put the price up a bit, but even so, the construction and quality is excellent.
