Don't know if this is in the right place or not but here goes. Quite suddenly and recently, pages on this forum or this forum in general have suddenly taken to reloading all the time, making it friggin annoying and difficult to read and follow any threads. Does any one have any suggestions as to what might be the problem. I'm using an iPad 2 and things don't seem to be a problem with other sites ? Please help it's driving me crackers.
My threads don't, but most have been closed down by the East Yorks' Mafia (they ride Scramblers you know)
I think it's a iPad issue as I have it with mine, and it doesn't happen with my PC. I'll investigate further though
Same with mine, ipad 3 Also any page with @royalwithcream post takes ages while it tries to load his signature...
Ah sorry guys. I only put the vid on there because it wouldn't let me upload a phot! I'll remove it now.
Tends to be when scrolling up/down more than half a screen page, goes blank, reloads and puts me back to where it was
That appears to be what mine is doing most of the time, but why all of a sudden. It didn't used to do that, and I deliberately have not downloaded iOS 8.4 after learning a lesson from the last time. P.s. It also reloads sometimes if I look at my notifications.
It's really annoying now, it's reloading now half way through downloading after clicking on other headings.
When it starts being a pain I switch to my pc to surf/browse the web. Incidentally I find that it's worse when I'm on Facebook.
OK, it is now acknowledged to be a problem and also a pain in the arse...so what can be done to fix it? Anybody know? Any nerdy-geek types out there who can help??
I'm not sure. It could be an Apple fix is needed. But I'll investigate from our end and let you know.
Thing is ET, is why is it doing it now, it didn't used to but now all of a sudden it does. That's why initially I thought it might have been something to do with the site (cut my tongue out)
Weird that its started. Nothing changed on the forum side of things. Will try to work out what it is. Cheers. Rob.
