Looking for the ral numbers for a 999R Fila rep I'm restoring; frame sub frame, swing arm, front & rear wheels & engine colours. Can anybody please help? Cheers
RAL colours will not exactly match certain Ducati colours. The Red frame colour is an example of this as it is not very close to the Rosso Red used on the 748/998 series bikes. Below is a PPG chart stating the reference numbers for Ducati colours. Ducati use\d PPG as well as Lechler as their paint provider at various times.
Ducati also use Palini in Bologna who supplied the gold for the 1098R wheels (D353 Racing Gold Metallic) amongst others. Difficult to buy as it's a two pac paint and not many spray shops will use it as it is carcenogenic. To top it off it's £155 per litre!
