Hi All, I've managed to find loads of info on red paintwork and White frames but nothing on the gold frame. I'm after a rattle can of the pale gold to spray up one of Duc904Red's Frame braces. Also, does anyone know if the '95 900SS had Colour matched or black mirrors as standard? Cheers John
JohnB , are you referring to the original bronze/gold that I have on my '93, in which case the only way I got a match was to have the paint mixed as no code for it I could find, never did discover anyone who could colour match in powder coating and ended up with doing it myself with two pack...Mike
Yep, thats the one. The Frame had been powdercoated by the previous owner, it looks standard. I'm not desperate for the frame brace to be a 100% match, but a colour near it would good!
John, If you have a something you can take off with the right colour then you could try an automotive paint supplier, they quite often will mix and put in a rattle can, worth calling round your locale? If they do, ask for extra propellant or you waste paint...used this myself in the past.Mike
Thanks for the tip, Only the frame and front fairing subframe is this colour, hence haven't done that  I'm sure there is a model of car out there close enough....
I ordered some touch up paint from here eBay My World - bikepaintermal for my 996. They also do aerosols.
Thanks Humbug. Mine's an "N" Reg with oil temp gauge too. I've got a colour matched set of mirrors which the previous owner had replaced with a set of non Ducati items, just wondered if they were factory spec..
As far as I can tell from three Ducati Supersport brochures, none of the mirrors were ever colour matched and were always black. IMO, there was a reason for this............As I have colour matched mirrors, I think they look a bit weird when looking head on, particularly with a twin headlight fairing and/or the half fairing.......not so much with the full fairing.......... ...........I think Ducati left them black so they didn't stand out, so what you actually focused on was fairing......with colour matched mirrors, your attention is drawn to them. AL
I've got a '94 model and have a receipt from a previous owner for having the 'optional colour matched' mirrors fitted. This may explain why you sometimes see similar model years with both black and red colour matched mirrors?
Thanks, All sorted now with a selection of Aerosol & Touch up in both the Rosso Red and the Gold
