Panigale 899 Clutch Noise??

  1. Apologies for the video quality, tried to capture the sound but my 899 does seem to have a noisy clutch. Never noticed it on any of my other Panigale’s.

doesn’t change if you pull the clutch in, it’s pretty constant and linked to engine revs. I can hear it when I ride even with ear plugs as it’s quite a high frequency

    Anyone think it’s an issue?

  2. On the 959, 1199 and 1299 with the removable clutch cover, they have a sound dampening plate. Not sure if the 899 has one as standard fitted to its one piece clutch housing?
If so, maybe the last owner removed it?

  3. yeah, I've had that thought. I've found some other video's on youtube and the clutch noise was very pronounced also, so perhaps not just my bike.

  4. Just checked and the 899 has the dampening plate. :upyeah:
