Anyone had this, I've read of a number of issues on the web. Mines taken the paint off of the lower R/h fairing and left rubber on it too. I noticed today that mine has done as other has, and to be honest im not massively happy about it.. I always struggled to understand how others have managed it but having now looked, it's fairly obvious to me that under load it will touch. Any had this? What was the outcome with the dealer/Ducati ....
Moto Rapido resolved mine and recently helped another guy on here. New panels and a spacer kit sorted it under warranty for me. Ask Stuart at Moto Rapido service dept for details.
My local dealer have said they don't think Ducati will warranty it.. straight off the bat.. I have emailed Ducati
Then it isn't a problem. Ducati were aware of it and sent out the bits complete within 1 week. No issues at all with moto Rapido sorting mine.
My bike is out of warranty but getting it under goodwill as I had the panel replaced for same issue just before warranty ran out. My dealer wasn't sure at first and said they hadn't heard of the issue before but would email Ducati to which they replied saying there was a fix for the issue
Spoke to my local dealer today who reckon they've never heard of it.. Interestingly I spoke to another dealer in Kent who've had loads. Porkies!!
