Does anybody have one fitted? Of course a load of you probably will. It is worth upgrading? It looks slippy. The Superploe seat on my 1098R is a great upgrade, I'm not sure on this.
The comfort seat is better. Thats too hard. Its not as comfy as a superpole surprisingly is. The comfort seat is the better seat. Same shape, slightly more give and grippier. But you still need stomp grips really.
I have this Race seat (as opposed the the Comfort seat) on my 1199 track bike. I find it perfect for the track and not slippy at all. It’s firm and slightly thicker than standard, so can be an issue if your inside leg is 29” ! In fact it’s what the original 2012 1199 seat should have been covered in, instead of the seriously slippy, shiny material they left the factory with. Interestingly, when the 899 came out, its standard seat had grippier material and this material then appeared on the 1199.
