check your fairing bolts I'm loosing bolts like there's no tomorrow despite them all being tweaked. Probably worth sticking a bit of Locktite or similar for piece of mind. Spoke to the dealer and apparently it's very normal
My mirrors kept coming loose, stuck some spring washers in which seems to have sorted that. Bike was only serviced a week or so ago lol and they checked all the bolts then as well. Lost two today!! LoL
I've seen it on another owners. It seems heat! There is a small coil spring on the right side of the bike and the worst part of the fading is directly under this. ( same size & shape). The coating of black paint finish is ludicrously thin, I'm sure this doesn't help. My claim was dealt with extremely promptly & without any dramas.
Not had any fairing bolts come loose no paint of exhaust, but notice last night under rear seat and number plate holder bolt rusting. I do have slight bubbling on top fairing located just under clutch grip side, told dealer on 1st service but they wouldnt even ask ducati for a warranty claim, said it ducati paint they all have crap paint..
Pics of the rust or paint Ross Paint defect is so hard to see don't think I'd get a good clear picture but will try. Also noticed when stripping fairings of a loot of them don't line up which has taken the paint off and chased the side of the holes, especially on mirrors
The paint defect, I've had a result with a paint warranty claim in the past. If it really bothers you, it may be worth politely asking again or contacting Ducati UK.
