Pani is a little wider, but if you're thinkin front stand, then the DP stand that locates under the radial mounts works fine on both to.

 

Yep. I use both front and rear stands from my 1098 on the 1199.

 

Use the 1098 one for the rear. I made the mistake of buying an 1199 one for the rear and it leans bike over to the left due to the angle it is welded at ( discussed on another thread here). Have managed to buy back the 1098 one I had. New 1199 front works well.

 

I used my 848 stand and just made a larger dia pin at work to fit, works a treat.

 

I've got a 848 stand which I need to keep for my monster. Can I buy a pin to fit a 1199 and simply swap them over whenever I need to use he stand? It's a genuine Ducati one if it makes any difference.

 

Can't see why not. Bought an R&G stand a little while ago for the Pani, had to buy the pin separately from a list. Pins should all be the same design, just with a different diameter fitting for the bike.

 

That'd be good. Then I could just swap the pin around.

 

I did the same john r and had an engineer mate of mine make a wider pin

 

My 1199 stand comes with the slim fitting pin and a shitty plastic sleeve that fits over the slim pin. It can only be a few quid to make - 40mm diameter.

Thought you might be able to order it and a product no. Etc Might make it easier but I've looked and there's no markings or product No. Etc on it.

The ducati front stand - does that fit under the calliper assembly? Is it sturdy enough? I've tried to source a headstock stand as I hate using the under-calliper type efforts but can't find one.
