I have Panigale V4S and also have OptiMate 6 lithium charger which I bought for my previous bike. I am looking to buying a cable to charge panigale with my OptiMate 6. I am yet to receive my motorbike but would like to know which cable is correct one and does this connect somewhere under the seat ?

+1 direct to the battery on the front of the tank, because it's the most direct route. It's how I've done it anyways.

Correct. I’ve no idea why the individual at your dealer told you that unless he/she’s trying to sell you the Ducati charger. There’s nothing wrong with going via the diagnostic port under the seat but a connection direct to the battery, with the lead neatly tidied away, saves having to remove the seat pad each time you want to plug in.
