Has anyone found a kit to plug the holes if you remove the pannier mounts? I’ll never be fitting panniers, so would like to clean the rear up, but haven’t been able to find anything to do so.
Not a PP, but I found some plastic bung things, but still obvious what they're doing. Not seen any after market deletes and even then, they usually look naff. I did it to mainly stop water getting in there.
No, I basically bought exact spec as the bolts but shorter, in plastic with a round flush-ish head. eBay in the end. Pack of 12 or something, so I have spares. Push fit I went for and getting out is just drill in, pop a screw in, pull out. Screw options available too, but they don't tend to fit as flush. Don't get me wrong, niot perfect, but better than holes.
Let me see what I can find... Edit: This was my first solution - the problem was the steel wasn't hidden with the screw head, so had to add a washer to try and blend in. Worked well enough too. Better in the flesh than shown here. They're M8 8mm button heads.
You talking about the top mounts or bottom one's off the foot peg mounts, for the bottom I used the original plugs that the bike comes with.
I’m surprised that nobody has designed anything to blank them off, as they’re pointless if you’re not fitting panniers.
The multi Facebook forum show a chap who had 3d printed some bungs to fit it , cant for the life of me find it now tho , sorry. Edit that , just found the page someone who can use a printer may be able to make some as this guy is in Cambre Spain .
If the guy in Spain isn’t looking to seek a few, would he be prepared to share the printer program with @Multirider75 ’s mate?
