Hi, I suspect the last time I took out a pillion they kicked off one of my lower rubber wedges just behind the pillion pegs that the panniers fit onto. Anyone know if I can buy these singularly as a spare part or are they just part of a bigger set. Alternatively does anyone have a spare one kicking about? Need it for the exhaust side on a 2013 bike. Also does anyone know of a generic 3rd party source for the bolts for the rear stone guard? These have the bigger shoulders between the head and thread. I believe one was lost at my dealer when they did some work n the bike but no way of proving it and at over >10 for a ducati bolt I though it worth looking for an alternative supply.
The rubbers are available singly and are not expensive the last time I bought one. The crud catcher bolts can be bodged using a standard M6 bolt with a washer stack or a piece of metal tubing cut to length for the lower one or an M6 bolt, washer and old fashion tap washer for the two top ones. Andy
I just take mine off when not using the panniers https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/assignment_spare_parts/86611201A
Thanks folks. The link to the parts finder is very useful too. Looks like as well as losing a bolt my stone guard has cracked one of the upper mountings. I suspect this is due to it moving about more with no lower bolt. Hopefully araldite will work but if not guess I'm going to be scouring the breakers for one of these as they are not a cheap bit of plastic. May well just leave it off...
