Hi Can anyone tell me what the paint code is for the 500 Pantah please? I've bought a track fairing and want to match it to my bikes original colour.
Not sure about codes but you would probably find a good paint shop could match it using a scanning machine. I guess you need both the red and the blue. Great little bike and a bit quicker than the specs would suggest. My first Ducati was a 600SL
I got my local auto paint shop to match the ice-blue colour of the 500SL Pantah, and their paint code number was C12-399. For the red and blue of the stickers, try Image Works, who can match them pretty well: http://www.bike-stickers.com/homepage.htm
Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply. I've bought the same style fairing as the road bike but with no headlight opening from Disco Volante. To race you have to have an oil catch tray so I got one from Ragged edge racing especially for the Pantah.id have prefered to keep the same lines but couldnt be avoided.
The classic ducati guys in Holland have lots of old stock stuff. I got some original Pantah decals a couple of years back. If I can find a link I'll post it ;-)
