Hello I have a pantah 650 that I got with the engine in pieces, I have mostly put the engine back together. but not having doen it before I got a little scared and just bought a 2013 Monster 600 engine. I know the swingarm pivot will be different, but I guess I wonder how with the ignition wiring work as I assume they have upgraded the ignition system in 33 years?

Do you have copies of the workshop manual and the spare parts list for Pantahs, @raphaelinox ? If you have specific queries, feel free to ask. Yes the Monster engines, although on the same general lines, do have a lot of differences so don't take anything for granted.
