Pantah Front Master Cylinder Alternatives

  1. My Pantha rebuild is almost complete, sorry for not updating for a long time.
My front brake master cylinder is toast, its a rare brembo PS14, rebuild kit cost a lot and it didnt fix the problem.
my setup is P08 calipers on 260mm disks.
i wonder should i install a 1/2 or 5/8 master cylinder (new nissin unit)
    What do you guys think?
BTW i'm selling the brembo PS14 if someone interested, it has new internals, maybe some will have more luck with it.
    Thanks

  2. I might be interested in the PS14 , drop me an email at [email protected]

A PS14 is a 9/16" dia so go as close to that as you can.

  3. Sent you an e-mail

  4. Smaller MC usually results in a more progressive brake with more feel, so I would go 1/2” (13mm)

  5. Yes but you have to be very careful that your master cylinder is going to move enough fluid to shift 4x 38mm pistons if the pads have been knocked back or you are using a dogleg lever etc. i would not recommend a PS13 with a pair of P08 calipers.
