Hi, Anyone got any idea what this item is? Two pics of the same item. Approx 30mm in length. There are two of them. One was in the 'storage' area under the pillion seat, the other in the battery compartment. Cheers PB

That's the pre DVT model Andy. Have a look here, #45 & #46. It looks like a couple of plugs in the undertray/battery-tray.
Could they be the pannier mounting rubbers, that sit on the rear pegs.? Maybe someone has stored them where you found them, as they have a habit of falling off.
Thanks for the quick replies. Yes, 2015 was the first DVT model. I've had it since new. Now done 26k miles mostly on The Continent. Great bike I'll bet it'll go even better with the plugs replaced in the battery under tray Thank you Bumpkin and Android. Markmc, my pannier pads were glued firmly into place as soon as I got it home having lost one from my earlier 2010 version
