hi folks, well my saga continues regarding the naughtistrada. I had found a complete used assembly on ebay, I put on offer in, it was accepted but it didn't arrive. I have now been refunded but still have a 1000ds shaped lump blocking access to my workshop so need too sort it. I looked up the sprag part number - 70140071a but see it has been superceded by part number 70140411a, which looks different and does not seem to have 1000ds in it's fitment list. I can't find a part number for the thin washer that goes between the roller bearing and crank either. Can anybody offer any words of advice please?
Stein Dinse are usually quite good with their part numbers. They have 70140411a as the replacement part for 70140071a on their Multi 1000DS page. But as you say it doesn't mention the 1000DS engine in the description. However, having had several of the engines apart I'd be really confident ordering the 70140411a.
Thanks Nasher, I now have one on order. If anybody wants to know the part number for the washer is 061950065. You have to buy 10 but they are only 66p each.
