LOVE my Multistrada Enduro but getting just so frustrated with it going in for recalls and warranty jobs and the parts are ALWAYS on back order!! Yet another weekend with no bike! First, shock recall, then an oil leak, then a fuel sender (part on backorder for weeks), now a gear selector part....yep.....part on back order!! NEVER had this issue with my KTM!! Anyone else experiencing this or is it just part of the Ducati 'experience'
The parts warehouse has just been relocated and it’s caused more headaches than expected. A lot more. It’s tough at the moment for the whole network in truth. Parts are taking much longer to arrive than usual. Hang in there. It’ll be worth it
I must say, the UK KTM supplies to tend to be exceptionally good. Some other countries have shoddy KTM supplies but we’re well catered for here. It may well be that the exceptional KTM supplies are simply showing Ducati to be average. I had my Faultistrada out of action a fair bit, but then all the parts they were ordering were not exactly run of the mill. All deep engine parts. Back on a KTM now and parts come to my door within 2 days.
Actually looking to maybe get rid of it......I need a bike that's reliable with my riding and this just isn't it and I'm gutted
LOL!!............I need to change that!!............those days are gone BUT my legs are more reliable than my Multi!! ;-)
So even if the part turns up I cant get it delivered back to me after dealership promised it back for weekend! Part expected tomorrow but wont deliver back.....appreciate I'm in Glasgow and they aren't!! Made plans including room bookings for a weekend trip so proper out of pocket. Really hacked off with this whole Ducati thing to be honest!
