I have just sold an item on flea bay, and the buyer has paid by E cheque, has anyone had any experience with these ? I have just looked on my pay pal account and it shows payment pending, does any one know how long they take to clear ? Do you still have to post the goods out before the cheque has cleared? Probably be wise to hang on to it I thinks
Don't send anything until the payment has cleared and is in your a\c. I payed by echeque accidentally a little while back, takes 4 or so days to clear I think. Just make sure the funds have cleared before sending
..... and not left in your PayPal account for PayPal to freeze when the purchaser to makes a claim back a few dyas later when they have the goods.
