Hi all, I have an 03ST4S ABS, and just fitting a new performance exhaust / airbox / ecu. This is a brand new kit. With it all on the bike and starting with the black key, the bike seems to run fine but the key (imobiliser) light on the dash is on permanently. Is this simply that the ecu is currently uncoded, and I need to code my keys to the ecu ? If so, how do i do it ? I have both the black and red key, but don't want to try and balls it up without knowing how to do it properly. I also note it won't start with the sidestand down even if in neutral and clutch in. I assume thats just because its an ecu compatible with earlier year bikes. It isnt a big deal but is it possible to alter this, or will i now need a lead like the 996s used to have to allow starting on sidestand ? Cheers all, John.
