On advice from the forum, I took my 2000 748 to Paul at PG Performance in Southampton and asked to just go through everything for me....so: New clutch (aluminium and so quiet and light!) New Oberon clutch slave cylinder New brake pads/braided hoses/fluid All fluids and filters changed New plugs New tank sender and hoses Forks stripped and serviced Ride height set Every single nut/bolt checked and torqued Picked it up earlier and it was like riding a different bike, it’s unbelievable! I’ve got a 2013 RSV Aprilia that rides like a bag of shite by comparison. Big investment in an old bike but I know it’s the right thing to do! Paul is a brilliant guy and a superb tech.....full of useful ‘real world’ advice!
