1299 Pic Request - 1299 Base

  1. Does anyone on here have a 1299 base with the DP carbon front mudguard fitted? Could you post some pics please? There's loads of pics of the S with it (obviously), but I can't seem to find many of the base 1299.

  3. No it doesn't, not IMO anyway. The S has the gold forks whereas the base has the magnesium and black colours.

    I think the DP mudguard on the S looks perfect, but I've seen a pic of a base with the mudguard and it just didn't suit it at all. I'm not sure if it's the combination of the black forks, wheels, tyres and mudguard without anything to break it up makes it all a bit much. That's why I'm asking for more pics, just to see if it's just a bad pic I've seen.

  4. Think the red line on the wheels of the S break it out a little from all black.

  5. you have a point, but its still black and it is not until you get 5ft away do you know it is carbon

  10. I can see your point though Certi. It does contrast nicer against the gold forks.

    Still looks good with the base though.

    Personally I like my red mudguard though.

  11. Yeah if I go for the 1299 I think I'd just keep the red mudguard.
