Pick Up My Hyper Sp Tomorrow!

  1. Hi All,

Picking up my Hypermotard 939SP tomorrow afternoon, so thought I'd pop in and say hi!

Always been a Superbike fan/rider then had a few years off, and said I wouldn't have another bike unless it could be a Ducati. Well crazy insurance quotes led to me not getting a 959, but after riding the Hyper I loved it and it was insurable! So I'll get some no claims back then maybe look to a Superbike again, but who knows by then I might be converted to upright riding position!

I'm hoping for good weather for the ride home! I don't want to have to give it a full clean on it's first outing!!!

  3. Good luck only had my Ducati a week and can't keep off it ,sure your going to be the same

  4. Not jealous at all , my wife has a 796 hypermotard and it's lots of fun especially with Termis de-cat and ECU flash

  5. Welcome dude, real fun bikes, rode one once when mine was in for Service, made me smile non stop for an hour!!

  6. Welcome new dude

  7. Is it red :)

Hello and welcome in to the mad house

Pics are the law in here include a bin when you get it

  8. Here she is! There was a small scratch on the exhaust when I picked it up, but the dealer were great and changed it straight away!

Went to see Guns 'N' Roses, the next day so didn't get to ride it on Saturday so spent a good few hours on it yesterday! Less than 500 miles to go until it's 'run in'....

Away with work this week so no evening blasts for me while the weather is so great!!!

  9. awesome bike, I love mine. Leaving for assen on Friday morning and other than frequent fuel stops I think it's going to be excellent for the trip

  10. I can imagine the fuel stops will get tedious! It's the parts in between that will be fun!

    Enjoy Assen!

  12. Should be roughly two hours between stops. Plenty of time for a coffee stop

  13. I have badgered my dealer into sorting the PDI on my SP so can pick it up on Wednesday ! will have to wait until first service for the full Term to be fitted though

    2 sleeps yippee

  14. I waited until first service but fitted the exhaust myself. Dealer still had to do the software update. Made a massive difference to the bike. I'm confident you'll love it!!

  15. I should really have waited for it but I am not renowned for my patience and besides which only running in so no big deal to get the feel of the thing a bit before it gets its full lungs
