Picked up my new 848 on Saturday. Didn't notice until i got the bike in the garage. I assume this isn't normal finish to expect from such a marque. Looks like somebody missed trimming the vinyl in the factory. What do you think? I've asked the dealer to speak with Ducati to get this sorted, am i over-reacting?
Thats not right at all. Get the dealer to sort it immediately. Mind you the word "immediately" doesn't figure in Ducati or their dealers vocabulary :frown:
Seems a quick botch job by whoever puts the film on the screen. Bit of heat, stretch and trim shold be sorted, altho tbf it sholdnt be delivered like that. I'd be pretty annoyed too
Good thanks m8, Still too hot for me tho, even this time of the year, so I spent a fair bit in the shade when I could. The old fella was over the moon when we turned up tho.
Nice, it's an area of the world I've never visited but maybe somewhere we should try. I must admit I like a nice sea breeze just to cool things down a little bit!
Is the vinyl stuck on the screen? Not sure that's factory if it is? Thought all the screens were 100% clear Perspex......
Kinda confused too, mine came with a clear screen as standard. If that's the screen above the line in that top pick I thought that was just a protective film for transporting purposes? I'm struggling to work out exactly where that is from the pic though.
Mmmmm I wonder if thats what it is and it wasnt removed under PDI? Likely the colour looks really close so when putting everything togther cold get missed
