I could just be highlighting just how little I know about motorcycles, but while searching for a cure to the Multistrada soggy rear brake, I discovered how much more there was to brake fluid than just buying DOT4. If you haven’t done so already, release the rear caliper and get it as high as possible. Set up a bleed bottle and pump the air out. Due to m/cylinder being close to engine and exhaust, the fluid can get hot. I use Motul RBF 600 for the rear. It’s high temp resistant. There’s a thread on forum about bleeding the rear and different ways of achieving the desired, firm feeling result.
