Does anyone know the Ohlins part number for a fork seal - 2019 1260 Pikes Peak? Need to source one quickly as mine has gone and I'm away on it next week!
Cheers Bob, I wondered if anyone had the specific Ohlins part number. Looks like KTech have come to the rescue. You'd have thought a local dealer might stock them given they fit around 20 different Ducatis.....
Both my local dealers routinely stock fork seals and both my local dealers are routinely out of stock of fork seals because the workshop are often replacing them ...... very often. Andy
Glad you're sorted chief, that part number should have been 2019 PP Ohlins specific. It's an arse when you know a particular Ducati part is made by another company, getting the part code and order the part itself is difficult or sometimes impossible to identify or locate. On my gen1, needeed rear wheel speed/abs sensor, Bosch manufacture the part for Brembo and they then supply Ducati. I managed to find the Bosch part code and as I have a mate who works for them try to purchase said part, nope, Bosch only sell to Brembo, so I emailed Brembo to see if they would supply, nope only motorcycle manufacturers. Same with gear position sensor!
You’ve got me worried now! I’ve ordered the seals from KTech, they are listed for the 2017 but the seal kit is the same for the 1200 & 1260.
I cant see KTech getting it wrong mate, did a little diligence and those particular Ohlins seals have been fitted to a lot bikes from 2012 onwards.
