Do any 1260PP owners know if the PP seat is exactly the same shape as the standard one? I can see its different materials and have found the parts numbers. I have the racing seat on my HS and it made a huge difference and looked so much better with the Alcantara type material. I've not done enough miles on my 1260 yet to know if the seat is going to need changing but have obviously seen plenty of chat about it. Cheers Jim
Wasn't really asking between 1200 and 1260, just trying to find out if the 1260PP seat is the same shape as the standard 1260 seat to see if it's worth getting.
1200, 1260 and Pikes Peak seats are all the same, awful. You slide down them and crush your jewels against the tank.
V2 High seat is much better ... for starters it's much "flatter" so you don't slip down the seat. And this is the same seat as 1260 etc.
Yes, all 1260 seats are the same design and shape, just different material finishes. The comfort seat (available in PP trim) was much better I felt. No longer sliding forward and crushing the jewels.
