For sale: Original Ducati pillion -seat for Ducati 1098/1198/848 The seat is from 2007 1098. There is a small approx 2,5 cm (1 inch) scratch and approx 1,5 cm (3/5 inch) tear which hides away when the seat is installed. The rear (fairing) in these bikes (1098/1198/848/Streetfighter) is identical, so the pillion seat fit both sportbikes and the Streetfigter. Only the way the tail pipes are routed is different.
As you can see from the pictures there is a difference in size between the two cowls, 1st pic is the SF all years all models 2nd pic is the Evo 848 2013 model Both cowls sit flush in the rear panel so I am not sure how the bigger cowl is going to sit flush in the smaller hole ? 3rd pic please note the locator lugs Furthest one is the Evo locator lugs face forward towards the bars, Nearest is SF locator lugs face towards the rear of the bike
your correct when I first bought mt SF848 I bought a cowling off ebay from an 848 and it did not fit a SF848
just to clarify, is it a pillion seat you want OR the pillion cowling ? Cowlings are like rocking horse shit but the seats come up on ebay all the time
