1199 Pillion Seat

  1. hi all looking for a little help or advice
    Took the wife to work today on the 1199 for the first time, while she found the seating position really comfortable the actual pillion seat though is another thing she found it really quite hard and a little bit uncomfortable and it was only a short journey so I'm going to have to find another more comfortable seat or find away of making the OEM seat more comfortable

    Has anyone had the same problem and come up with a solution or a more comfortable seat ?

  2. i think there is a comfort seat available. i took my wife out, 1 hour was ok, 3 hours were not, 5 was painful!!!

    Don't always go out with the misses on the back but it is nice sometimes for her to come out for a ride and want her to be comfortable

  6. :upyeah: put it in 120 brake mode too, so much smoother. Im gonna get a speed triple for spring, and two ups! Pani is best as a single seater :upyeah:

  7. My missus won't go anywhere near my 1199. I had to buy a 1000ss as well before she'd get on the back. Still it's not everyday you can use your wife as the perfect excuse to buy another bike, an get away with it!:D
